of rip saw blades, for use on a variety of machines
ranging from a table saw to a gang rip saw. Most
blades come with a flat tooth style (F), as noted.
Glue-line rip saw blades have a triple chip grind (TCG),
and the alternate top bevel (ATB) rip blades are reserved
for ripping and cross-cutting exotic wood species and
veneers. The chip limitors, which some blades are
designed with, help reduce kickback, and the carbide
chip guides on selected blades promote quick and easy
chip flow, thereby reducing the heat build up during
the cutting process, and providing a longer blade cycle.
